Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This policy describes how Neural Evo ("we", "us") approaches privacy for Ruppi, a desktop network recon application. It is written in plain language for product clarity and is not a substitute for formal legal advice.
1. Who we are
Ruppi is built by Neural Evo. For privacy questions, email legal@neuralevo.com.
2. Local-first product
Ruppi is designed to run on your computer. Network discovery results, device nicknames, trust flags, connection history, Wi‑Fi logs, integrity pins, and in-app notifications are stored in local application data on your machine, not uploaded to Neural Evo as part of normal scanning.
3. What Ruppi processes on your device
- Local network information such as IP addresses, MAC addresses, hostnames, and vendors when discoverable
- Presence and connection events you generate while scanning
- Optional labels you assign (nicknames, trusted / suspicious flags)
- Wi‑Fi scan results and connection-related metadata when you use those features
- Optional router credentials you enter if you enable a router backend
- Optional LLM API keys and chat history if you enable the forensic agent
Scanning typically requires elevated privileges so discovery tools can observe the LAN accurately. That access stays under your control on the host you run.
4. Optional forensic agent
If you enable the forensic agent, Ruppi may send prompts and selected local forensic context to the LLM provider you configure (for example DeepSeek or another OpenAI-compatible endpoint). Those providers process data under their own terms. We do not receive your API traffic unless you separately share it with us.
5. Backups and exports
If you export a backup, the file may include history, settings, and secrets you stored (such as API keys or router passwords). Keep exports private. Imports replace local data with the backup contents.
6. Website visits
This marketing site at ruppi.neuralevo.com is static. We do not use advertising trackers on these pages. Your browser and host may still generate ordinary server or CDN logs (for example IP address and user agent) when you request pages. Scheduling via Calendly is handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
7. We do not sell personal data
Neural Evo does not sell personal information collected through Ruppi or this website.
8. Children
Ruppi is intended for adults and organizations managing networks. It is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
